About Santa Shuffle
The Santa Shuffle began 33 years ago in Edmonton, Alberta to fundraise for local Salvation Army initiatives when local Running Room members decided to use their passion for running to raise money and support the less fortunate in their community. In 2001, the Santa Shuffle became a national event with locations in every province in Canada.

Today, the Santa Shuffle is a 5km Fun Run and 1km Elf Walk for all ages and skill levels. Participants fundraise throughout the season to make a difference in their community. On event day, participants are encouraged to wear their funkiest festive running attire for a day of laughter and fun. After the event, each participants is rewarded a finisher medal to celebrate their accomplishment.

The Santa Shuffle is held in proud partnership with the Running Room.

Every year, thousands of passionate Canadians dedicated to making a difference join the Santa Shuffle to help The Salvation Army support vulnerable people. This year will be no exception. We are excited to announce that the Santa Shuffle will be in-person this year for a meaningful, safe, and fun run/walk on Saturday, December 2nd.

The Santa Shuffle will be packed with new surprises such as new pledge incentives, best-dressed contests, updated medal and shirt designs, and more!

We thank you for all your continued support and look forward to conecting with all our Santa Shufflers across the country.
